The Stûv 30-compact combines form and function to provide maximum performance and pleasure using it.

The ‘compact’ version of the Stûv 30: ideal for low-energy homes or compact dwellings.

Powerful and efficient

The Stûv 30-compact ensures highly efficient combustion. The glass stays clean for longer and the output can easily be adjusted between 3 and 9 kW.

3-door system

All you have to do is turn your Stûv 30-compact’s drum until the door you want is in front of the stove opening.

• The glass door gives a magnificent view of the flames, guaranteeing safety, eco-friendliness and savings, thanks to its excellent output.
• The solid door slows down the fire and optimises performance.
• Open fire mode means that you can make the most of the crackling flames, the smell of the wood… and even a barbeque!

Connection to outside air 

The Stûv 30 can be connected to the outside air, either under the device or behind the stove.

Connection to the outside air offers the following advantages:

• The combustion air is captured outside the building. Without this connection air is captured within the building, and must be compensated by an air intake (cold) within the building. The total output of the installation is therefore much higher with an external connection.
• The combustion circuit (combustion air and smoke) is sealed and does not disturb the Controlled Mechanical Ventilation.

Operating mode

1. Combustion air.
   Illustration with direct air intake under the stove. The external air intake can also be located at the rear of the device.
2. Combustion.
   The air intake, the combustion chamber and smoke evacuation form an air-tight system.
3. The air is captured in the living room and is heated by the device.
4. The convection air circulates throughout the combustion chamber and captures heat from the smoke.
5. The heated air comes out of the device naturally and spreads within the room.
6. The smoke is evacuated into the flue.
7. Forced air flow chases the smoke from the window. This way, you can continuously benefit from watching the flames.

Ash container 

The Stûv 30-compact has a built-in ash container.

Contrary to traditional wisdom, frequent ash removal is not necessary. You should leave a bed of ash in the combustion chamber to insulate the chamber and base plate from the heat of combustion.

Barbecue

The Stûv 30 can be fitted with a barbecue kit. The food cooks by radiated heat, without coming into contact with the flames. Juices are collected in the stainless steel tray and smells are extracted by the flue.

Floor plates 

To protect floor coverings, Stûv has designed hearth plates specially for the Stûv 30-compact.
