Granite Hearth – Grey ‘Flamed’ Granite
A different chemical make up gives this granite its distinct grey and white flecked appearance. To achieve a flamed finish the material
is subjected to direct heat via a blow torch that causes individual crystals to suffer thermal shock and ‘pop out’ leaving a slightly rough, textured surface.
It’s important to note that granite is a natural stone, and as such, each hearth possesses its own unique fossil marks and distinctive features,
adding a touch of character to your chosen hearth.
Your hearth will be templated to size during your site visit.

We are able to offer bespoke sized hearths & back hearths, bespoke 3 or 4-piece slip sets (peaked or curved top), edge polishing, curved or shaped hearths,
cutting hearths to fit around an existing fireplace, single piece T-shaped hearths, 3 different shapes of hearth: Flat, Boxed & Lipped, Boxed Flush.
