Stûv (30-compact H) with accumulator – High
The Stûv 30-compact H can be fitted with a storage core that stores a part of the heat. Once the stove goes out, the accumulated energy continues to be diffused over several hours, thus prolonging the feeling of heat and well-being.
Heat storage
The Stûv 30-compact H can be fitted with a storage core that stores part of the heat.
Once the fire goes out, the stored energy continues to be diffused for several hours, extending the feeling of warmth and well-being.
- Lighting: Most of the heat is used to heat up the room while some is stored in the accumulator.
- Accumulation: Closed-door mode prevents the diffusion of heat through the glass and channels energy towards the accumulator.
- Distribution of the heat: Gradual restitution of the accumulated heat takes place after the fire dies out.
Stûv 30-compact H
The Stûv 30-compact H combines all the functions: high-performance combustion, a 3-door system, heat accumulator and swivel base.
3-door system
- With the glass door, you can make the most of watching the flames in complete safety and with excellent output. Proof of its economic and eco-friendly operation.
- In idling mode, the solid door with its heat loop channels heat to the storage core. This hides the combustion chamber when the stove is not being used.
- In open fire mode, you can hear the flames crackling, breathe in the lovely smell of the fire…. Or you can also have a barbecue.
High-performance combustion
The cast iron combustion chamber, together with the advanced airtightness, means that you can achieve over 80% efficiency and an adjustable power of between 3 and 9kW.
Operating mode
- Combustion air.
Illustration with direct air intake under the stove. The external air intake can also be located at the rear of the device. - Combustion.
The air intake, the combustion chamber and smoke evacuation form an air-tight system. - The air is captured in the living room and is heated by the device.
- The convection air circulates throughout the combustion chamber and captures heat from the smoke.
- The heated air comes out of the device naturally and spreads within the room.
- The smoke is evacuated into the flue. Illustration with top outlet, also exists with rear outlet.
- Forced air flow chases the smoke from the window. This way, you can continuously benefit from watching the flames.
Connection to outside air
The Stûv 30-compact H can be connected to the outside air, either under the device or behind the stove.
Connection to the outside air offers the following advantages:
- The combustion air is captured outside the building. Without this connection air is captured within the building, and must be compensated by an air intake (cold) within the building. The total output of the installation is therefore much higher with an external connection.
- The combustion circuit (combustion air and smoke) is sealed and does not disturb the Controlled Mechanical Ventilation.
Ash container
The Stûv 30-compact H has a built-in ash container.
Contrary to traditional wisdom, frequent ash removal is not necessary. You should leave a bed of ash in the combustion chamber to insulate the chamber and base plate from the heat of combustion.
Barbecue
The Stûv 30-compact H can be fitted with a barbecue kit. The food cooks by radiated heat, without coming into contact with the flames. Juices are collected in the stainless steel tray and smells are extracted by the flue.
Floor plates
To protect floor coverings, Stûv has designed hearth plates specially for the Stûv 30-compact H.
